Every year we help more than 5000 people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
By donating to NDS you will be supporting those 5000 deaf children and adults and helping them live more independent, confident, happy and secure lives. Whatever you can afford to give will go directly to our services and every pound makes a difference.
If you decide to make a regular donation you will be giving NDS the opportunity to plan our activities sustainably, knowing that we are supported by regular donations.
There are lots of different ways to make a donation.

Other ways you can donate
There are other ways you may like to donate to us. This can be one off or regularly.
Payroll Giving
You may be able to give regularly via your employer’s payroll. Ask them if they have a scheme. If not then perhaps ask them to set one up.
When you use a payroll giving scheme donations are made before you pay tax. Gifts made through payroll giving are not eligible for Gift Aid as no tax is paid on it.
For more information see this article on the UK Government Website: https://www.gov.uk/payroll-giving
Giving Accounts
Organisations such as the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) allow you to make donations through giving account. They will handle gift aid claims for you and send the gross amount directly to the charity you choose.
Life Insurance – Charitble giving
A gift through your life insurance policy is another way to make a charitable gift. You may no longer need to provide for your family or other expenses so as alternative you can name the Nottinghamshire Deaf Society as a beneficiary in your policy. Your solicitor should be able to help you get started with a gift through life insurance.
